Lime Green Grippa (previously named Prepbond Q) is a render and plaster undercoat for difficult surfaces with poor key and limited suction, but which are otherwise sound, such as;
- Water repellent concrete
- Most ceramic tiles
- Plastic lath
- Some insulation boards
- Cement fibre boards
Lime Green Grippa (Prepbond Q) is not suitable for backgrounds that require high levels of breathability.
Grippa is never suitable for:
- Soft surfaces (typically <7 N/mm2)
- Lightweight blocks
- Flaking paints
Checks and trials should be made before commencing work on other backgrounds.
One 25kg bag will cover approx. 3m² at 5mm thick. This does not include any allowance for wastage
